Two-part epoxy adhesive that back-coats natural stone and large-format tiles: a bonding bridge to the tile adhesive and at the same time a moisture barrier that prevents staining of the stone.

Applications
- Back-coating natural stone and large-format tiles before installation
- Bonding tiles and stone over concrete, existing tiles, fibre-cement boards and OSB
- Consolidating and improving adhesion of cement-board and plywood substrates
Advantages
- Blocks rising moisture, prevents staining of the stone face
- Bonding bridge between stone and cementitious adhesive
- Long working time: 120 minutes after mixing
- Simple 1 : 1 mixing ratio
Application steps
- Mix components A and B at 1 : 1 until the colour is uniform.
- Trowel a thin coat of R600 to fully cover the back of the stone with a flat trowel.
- Spread cementitious tile adhesive onto the substrate with a notched trowel.
- Spread cementitious adhesive onto the R600 coat while still wet (within 30 minutes).
- Set the stone, adjust with a rubber mallet and levelling wedges within 30 minutes.
- Grout after at least 24 hours.
Notes
- Cement-board and plywood substrates: trowel an extra thin coat of R600 onto the substrate to consolidate and improve adhesion.
